Do It Yourself (DIY) Installation
- Connect Control Panel
An example of what a do it yourself installation might look like is you would simply plug the control panel of your wireless home alarm into an electrical outlet. That's the first step. You can either leave it on any flat surface or mount it to the wall!
Usually the control panels will come with an attached tabletop stand, so you can easily put it on any flat surface (like a counter or shelf). Or, if you prefer, it's very easy to mount it to the wall.

- Position Sensors
Sensors for a DIY wireless home alarm come with a super high grade adhesive backing so it's literally "peel & place". Hold the sensor in place for 30 seconds. And your set! Peel and place your sensors, hold for 30 seconds and your done.
Placing sensors only takes most of folks between 20-30 minutes.

- Activate
Once your done with the install, the wireless home alarm company you work with would activate the alarm. Normally they would remotely access the wireless home alarm and test all sensors to be sure there is proper communication. When done with steps 1 and 2, the wireless alarm company activates everything for you.
If Help is needed?
No worries, there is almost nothing highly trained wireless home alarm activation experts can't talk you through in seconds. But, if needs be, a security professional come out to your home to help.
